Hi again!  Earlier I showed you the Cotton Candy Collection and now we've got the Sueded Summer Collection to drool over.  Contrary's summer collection consists of 6 polishes.  Three "vivid" and bright polishes and 3 "neutral" and nude polishes.  All 6 have a suede/matte finish.  These will be available from ContraryPolish.com on Tuesday, May 16th at 12pm CDT.

Excuse me Ma'am, do you have time to talk about our lord and savior olive green polish?

Okay but seriously, olive green is one of my favorite colors when it comes to polish and I'm always on a quest to buy more.  The "uglier" the better.  Enter Mariah of Great Lakes Lacquer.  I'd actually just bought a purple custom for my best friend's birthday and when it came in the mail, I instantly thought that it would be absolutely perfect as olive green.  So of course I bought another custom.  

When I told Mariah I wanted something in the vein of Rescue Beauty Lounge's No More War, she probably cringed, but she ended up creating my dream polish!  And because I can't keep it all to myself, Mariah is offering it in her shop for a limited time starting June 23rd 3pm EST

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far.  Today I'm so excited to be showing you the Pahlish half of a collaborative collection with Elevation Polish!  The Adventures of Marco Polo Collection was inspired by the Netflix show Marco Polo.  It's been on my list of things to watch and I this collection gave me the kick in the pants.  I ended up binge watching.  If you love historical period pieces with lots of drama, definitely give this show a try.

Revlon Enthrall

Hi everyone!  Today is just a quick post because I am dead tired.  Thesis writing is definitely getting the best of me.

I bought Revlon Enthrall at Big Lots for only $1.50.  They really do have some nice polish selections right now.  Enthrall is a blackened swamp green shimmer with micro flakies in it.  If you zoom in on my photos, you can see them.  I really do love this color.  It went on perfectly.

This is 2 coats.

Zoya Yara

Hey everyone!  Today I couldn't figure out what polish to wear, so I reached into my untried pile and pulled out Zoya Yara.  Its one of those pretty/ugly olive greens that I love and has tons of golden glass flecks.

No complaints on application

This is 2 coats.

China Glaze Wagon Trail

Today, I decided to revisit one of my old favorites, Wagon Trail.  It was apart of China Glaze's fall 2008 collection Rodeo Diva.  Rodeo Diva is hands down one of my favorite collections from China Glaze.

Wagon trail is a gorgeous blackened olive green shimmer.  It was definitely one of my favorites (along with half the nail world) of the collection.

This is 3 coats.

Nubar Purple Beach

Oh Nubar, how I love your duochromes.  I wish they'd come out with an entire collection.

Purple Beach is a duochrome that is purple most times.  It changes to olive and gold in different lights and viewpoints.
