Polish Con - Contrary Polish These Streets Will Make You Feel Brand New

Press Sample

Hi everyone!  We're coming up on week 9 of The Road to Polish Con and one of the brands featured is Contrary Polish with These Streets Will Make You Feel Brand New.  Taking it's name from a song about the city itself, how can it be any more New York?  You can buy this polish from PolishConvention.com from February 5th through February 11th.

Let's take a look.

Great Lakes Lacquer and Literary Lacquers Make Your Stand Collaboration Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Hi everyone! Today I have a collaboration between Great Lakes Lacquer and Literary Lacquers to show you called Make Your Stand.  The collection consists of 4 polishes, 2 from each brand and is inspired by Steven King's The Stand.  I'm a huge reader, but historical fiction is usually my genre of choice.  Still, I'm going to add this to my to read pile because I'm curious.

This collection is available for pre-order until July 19th on GreatLakesLacquer.com with a turn around time of 5-12 business days.

Let's take a look!

China Glaze Let's Do It In 3-D

Hey ya'll!  I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and if you're off today like me, I hope it continues that way!  Today I felt like wearing a holo so I decided to wear Let's Do it in 3-D.  This one is from China Glaze's popular Kaleidoscope collection from 2006.  It's a charcoal scattered holo and I lurve it.

This is 3 coats.

Misa Dying Love

A few posts ago I informed everyone of how depressed I was after breaking a nail and didn't plan on showing current pictures for a while.  Well, I lied lol.  I always go through an "insecure" period after breaking a nail.  It takes me a week to get used to my nubs.  Weird, I know.

Anyways, I decided to try a polish that's been untried forever.  I remember buying this polish back when Misa had this amazing deal if you mentioned Scrangie or The Polish Addict.  That was like 2 1/2 years ago -_-

Misa Dying love is a gorgeous black with charcoal shimmer/frost.  This is 2 coats.
