Hi everyone! Today I have a collaboration between Great Lakes Lacquer and Literary Lacquers to show you called Make Your Stand.  The collection consists of 4 polishes, 2 from each brand and is inspired by Steven King's The Stand.  I'm a huge reader, but historical fiction is usually my genre of choice.  Still, I'm going to add this to my to read pile because I'm curious.

Hi everyone! Today I have the Crème à la Mode Summer 2016 box to show you!  The Crème à la Mode box is a set of four creme polishes from Digital Nails, Indigo Bananas, Literary Lacquers, and Octopus Party Nail Lacquer, and is released every quarter.  These cremes are perfect to wear alone or do use for nail art!  

The Crème à la Mode box will be available for pre-order starting Friday, July 8th and will end Friday, July 15th from the Crème à la Mode website.  This quartet retails for $26 USD plus shipping!  Let's take a look!

The Color Box - Purple All the Things Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!  I'm SO excited to show you these!  The Color Box!  This is the brainchild of Manna over at Manna's Manis.  She wanted to create an all purple box but with a twist.  The polishes in The Color Box are bloggers ideas brought to fruition by the makers they worked with and the end results are purple perfection!

The Color Box - Purple All the Things will be available from TheColorBox.bigcartel.com starting April 15th at 3:30 pm EST.  While the first 25 boxes will come with a "cray-corn" coloring sheet, there is no set limit on how many boxes will be available.  The box price will be $45 + $6.10 for shipping in the US (shipping to Canada will be $15 USD and everywhere else shipping will be $23 USD).

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great Easter/weekend!  Today I have the new Spring 2016 Crème à la Mode Box.  As a recap, the Creme a la Mode box is collaborative effort between four brands: Digital Nails, Literary Lacquers, Indigo Bananas, and Octopus Party Nail Lacquers.  It contains four creme polishes, retails for $26 USD + s&h, and is released quarterly at CremeAlaMode.bigcartel.com.

Ever After Polish and Literary Lacquers Peter Rabbit Quartet

Happy Saturday!  I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far!  Today  I have a quartet from two amazing indie brands: Ever After Polish and Literary Lacquers, and the theme is Peter Rabbit.  This quartet brought back memories of The Tale of Peter Rabbit and all the other stories written by Beatrix Potter.  My grandma used to read them to me and even bought me my own set that I still have!

These 4 polishes are all filled with shimmer and glass fleck and scream all things spring.  They will be available Sunday, March 20th at 3pm EST from EverAfterPolish.com and will retail for $40.

Crème à la Mode Box Winter 2015

Hi everyone!  Today I have the Winter Crème à la Mode box to show you.  The box is released quarterly and includes four creme polishes from the indie brands Digital Nails, Literary Lacquers, Indigo Bananas, and Octopus Party Nail Lacquer.

Indigo Bananas Scarlet Night.  This is a deep, kind of a brick red color.  It has a slightly sheer formula giving more of a jelly/creme look.  It does go on sheer, but eventually builds up and has an easy formula.

This is 4 coats.

Digital Nails Arboreal.  This is such a pretty aqua.  I love how it's darker than your average aqua polish!  The formula on this is perfect!

This is 2 coats.

Literary Lacquers Breathing Dreams Like Air.  This is a dusty grayed purple creme.  This one is on the thick side and I had a bit of a hard time with the formula.  I seem to be the only one, so maybe it was just user error.

This is 2 coats.

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Malibu Stacy's Mom.  This is a beautiful bright nearly neon barbie pink.  And I love it because it's so squishy.  No formula complaints about this one!

This is 3 coats.

This fall's box is available for pre-order from November 15th - November 21st from CremealaMode.bigcartel.com and retails for $26 USD.  And if you happen to miss the box, each polish will eventually come to each individual makers shop!
