Pahlish There is a Song Collection Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Hi everyone!  It's time for another Pahlish collection: There is a Song.  It's inspired by the tv show Doctor Who and more specifically the character River Song.  If you love Doctor Who, definitely check this collection out.  And if you're not, still check it out because there is some serious fabulousness happening here!  The collection consists of 6 polishes (I'm missing one. Unfortunately it broke in transit) and will be available from Pahlish.com February 14th along with the February Duo and some special Doctor Who bespokes!

Let's get to the swatches!

Pahlish Melody Malone.  this is adusty  purple ta  with lots of pink shimmer.  I love colors like these and Pahlish does them so well.  Application on this was perfect.

This is 2 coats.

Pahlish Stormcage.  This one has a blackened indigo jelly for a base and it is filled with silver flakes and violet blue flecks.  Formula on this is a tad thick, but it's still easy to work with.

This is 3 coats.

Pahlish Impossible Astronaut.  This is a kind of a grey, beige, nude color with silver shimmer and even a little holo.  The holo is more obvious in the bottle, but on the nail is not very noticeable.  Either way it's gorgeous and perfect for when you need something subtle with a little something extra.  Application was easy.  It does go on a little sheer in the first coat, but is perfect in 2.

This is 2 coats.

Pahlish Hello Sweetie.  This has a lavender crelly base with lots of silver flakes and some violet and blue flecks throughout.  It's such a pretty delicate color and base is very close to Mother Yackie from the February Duo.  Like Impossible Astronaut, it goes on sheer on the first coat, but is perfect in 2!

This is 2 coats.

Pahlish Singing Towers.  This is a deep brown jelly with copper and red ultrachrome flakes as well as holo micro flakes.  I'm seriously in love with this polish and had to keep it on after swatching.  It's stunning!  The formula is easy to work with so no issues there!

This is 3 coats.

And there we have it!  There is a 6th polish that broke in transit called Spoilers.  It's a vampy oxblood red jelly with iridescent white flakes.  Despite the wreckage, I loved how it looked so I'll probably order one.  Over all this is such a gorgeous collection.  I honestly see myself wearing all of these, but my favorites are Singing Towers, Impossible Astronaut and Melody Malone.

Which ones are you getting?  Be sure to check out Pahlish at the links below!
