Hi everyone! Today I have Zoya's offering for Winter 2014 called the Wishes Collection. It consists of 3 Magical PixieDusts, 2 shimmer/frosts, and 1 cream.
Read on for the swatches and review!
First up is Haven. This one is reddish purple plum shimmer. Very pretty! Application on this was great too. This is 2 coats.
Prim is a frosty blue that's almost a bit periwinkle-ish. Frosts usually aren't my thing, but I found this growing on me. The formula on this was nice, but as with most frosts, you end up with brush strokes. This is 2 coats.
Willa is a black cream and the only cream of the group. In person, it seems to almost have a gray cast over it instead of being pure ink black. It has a pretty decent formula, so not complaints there. This is 3 coats, but is doable in 2.
Now for the Magical PixieDusts. These are textured polishes with lots of holographic glitter. We've had some other Magical PixieDusts in the past and these differ from those in that they have jelly bases and sadly aren't as textured as the others. They dry down like a normal glitter with no top coat. I do wish these had a more matte textured finish, but they're lovely with topcoat!
Thea is the purple Magical PixieDust. This one has a jelly purple base with holo glitters. It dries to a textured finish. This is 2 coats.
Nori has a medium toned blue jelly base. This is 3 coats
With topcoat.
Imogen is the black Magical PixieDust and my favorite. This is 2 coats.
Over all it's a nice collection. I loved Haven and Prim. I was a bit disappointed with the Magical Pixie dusts because they didn't dry down to a complete matte textured finish like previous ones.
This collection and others can be purchased at Zoya.com
Did you purchase any of these? Which are you're favorite?

I just grabbed Willa and Haven during one of Zoya's recent sales but now I'm wishing I'd grabbed Imogen and Thea too. They look great with a topcoat!
ReplyDeleteI'm not wild about textures in general but you make me want to get a few pixies! And of course now they're being discontinued. :/
