Zoya Naturel Deux (2) Swatches and Review

Early this year, Zoya released the Naturel collection full of lovely neutral shades.  Well, they're at it again and I'm loving this round!

Naturel Deux consists of 3 brown shades as well as 3 in the muave/plum color family, all of which are work appropriate.

On to the swatches!

First up is Spencer, a gorgeous tan color.  A perfect warm toned nude.  Application on this was great.  This is 2 coats.

Madeline is a muave cream.  It's something I would have called a granny color a few years ago, but I really like it on.  Like Spencer, the application was great.  This is 2 coats.

Chanelle is a lovely hot chocolate colored cream.  I thought this one could be my "mannequin hand" color, but not quite.  I'm somewhere between Spencer and Chanelle.  It is however perfect for my best friend Winta (NW45 in Studio Fix Fluid for reference).  I borrowed her hand and swatched Chanelle on her as well (this is why she's my bestie; she puts up with all my antics :-D).  Chanelle has a nice application.  No complaints here.  This is 2 coats on my nails, but 1 coat on Winta's.

Winta's nails.  Raise your hand if you want to see more of her nails on the blog!

Aubrey is a nice berry color.  It's perfect for fall!  No application complaints.  This is 2 coats.

The last brown in this collection is Emilia.  Emilia is a dark, sort of grayed out brown.  This one had a thinner consistency than the rest of the collection, but still workable.  This is 2 coats.

And last but not least is Marney or Marnie.  I'm in love with this deep plum shade.  Another shade perfect for fall.  No complaints about application.  This is 2 coats.

Over all, this a great collection of work appropriate colors.  It feels like Zoya had us brown skinned girls in mind when creating these.  All these shades are perfect for us!  I was pleased with the application and really enjoyed this collection.  I usually veer towards the bold, but the neutrals here are a nice change of pace.  My favorites are Marney, Spencer and Emilia.

The Naturel Deux (2) Collection retails for $54 as a set or $9 per bottle.  They are available for purchase via Zoya.com.

Will you be purchasing any of these?

  1. I had zero interest in this collection. Then I saw your swatches. Now I need Chanelle, Spencer and Marnie! Also yes more Winta's hands!

  2. So glad to see these polishes on a woman with a skin tone similar to mine. Really helps me decide which ones I want (almost all of them). Thanks for the great swatches!

  3. so glad to see these next to brown skin, polish can be tricky to pick when the swatches are on fair skined women. I plan to get Madeline and maybe Chanelle too.
