Hi everyone! Today I have Smitten Polish's fall collection What a Punny Autumn as well as their charity limited editions benefiting the Black Mamba Poaching Unit. As always, Noelie brought her A-game with these stunningly awesome holos, so let's check them out!
Smitten Polish Orange You Glad It's Pun-kin Season? This is a deep pumpkin orange jelly base with lots of holo silver and orange micro glitters. It applies really well and has a nice jelly formula.
This is 3 coats, but is good in 2 coats.
Smitten Polish Can You Beleaf These Puns? I've been seeing lots of browns this season and I'm really digging it. Indie makers have really gotten me to come around and start liking browns. This beauty is a brown jelly with brown and silver holo micro glitter. Seriously, this polish is perfect in every way!
This is 3 coats.
Smitten Polish Something Wicked This Way Plums. This is another color I've been seeing quite a bit of lately: purple! This has a plumy purple base with holo pigment with the addition of holo micro glitter. It's nicely pigmented and if you do a thicker coat, could totally be a one coater. Because of the micro glitter, it does dry to have a slightly rough texture, so be sure to use a thick top coat.
This is 2 coats.
Smitten Polish Oh, the Hue-Manatee. Noelie was clearly having fun with the puns here! This is a gun metal silver with lots of holo and holo micro glitter. Very sparkly and holo. Like Something Wicked This Way Plums, it dries slightly textured, but wear 2 layers of top coat or a slightly thicker one.
This is 2 coats.
This is 2 coats.
Smitten Polish Poach Busters. I always love Smitten Polish's greens and this is no exception. This has a medium green base with holo pigment and more of that awesome holo micro glitter. No application issues, but do wear an extra layer of top coat or a thick top coat to get a smoother finish!
This is 2 coats.
Now there is another charity polish that benefits called In October, We Wear Blue to raise awareness for male breast cancer. This polish is only available to those who are members of the Hella Holo Customs Facebook group. I don't have it to swatch, but check out Jenny from Lavish Layerings for a beautiful shot of it and more info on how to join the Hella Holo Customs group to purchase.
These are all available now from SmittenPolish.com. Be sure to connect with Smitten Polish at the following spots!

Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Unit Charity Limited Editions
Smitten Polish has decided to release 2 limited edition polishes that will benefit the Black Mamba APU. These polishes will be available through the month of October and for every bottle sold, $3 will be donated to the Black Mamba APU. Here's a bit about the charity:
"Black Mamba APU was founded in 2013, and is the first anti-poaching unit of its kind, since the majority of the teams are women. Black Mamba APU focuses not only on the physical prevention of poaching, but also on environmental education within their communities, as well as a social upliftment program that aims to address unemployment and skills development within South Africa.
The Black Mamba APU was the recipient of the UN's Champions of the Earth Award in 2015. For more information on this groundbreaking organization, please visit www.blackmambas.org."Smitten Polish Black Mamba. This polish has a black base with lots of holo pigment and holo micro glitter. The bottle makes it look like a dark gray because of all the holo and glitter, but on the nail it's definitely black and in certain lights the holo glitter gives off a lot of red reflection which is super pretty. Application was perfect, but it dries a little rough like the ones I mentioned previously, so wear an extra layer of top coat for smoothness.
