Hi everyone! Today I have a long overdue review of the Alice and Wonderland inspired A Little Madness from Girly Bits. The collection consists of six polishes in a variety of finishes and colors. You can still purchase them from GirlyBitsCosmetics.com or HarlowandCo.org.
Girly Bits Heads Will Roll. This is a jewel toned jelly red filled with golden flecked shimmer. It's such a classic color. No application issues; it dries to a nice smooth finish.
This is 2 coats.
Girly Bits White Rabbit. This has a very sheer white base and has lots of silver flecks and golden iridescent micro glitter. The end result is a polish that looks both silver and gold. It goes on very sheer, but does build up. Because of the micro glitter, this does dry textured, so you'll need an extra coat of top coat for a smoother and shinier finish.
This is 3 coats with a coat of Gelous and a quick dry top coat.
Girly Bits Go Ask Alice. This is a medium toned. slightly aqua blue. It goes on like a crelly, but the end result is pretty creamy. Even though it's a crelly, it has a very nice consistency, goes on easily and builds to opacity in just a couple coats.
This is 2 coats.
Girly Bits A Little Madness. This is an interesting color and it's hard to capture. It's a glowy orange that leans a little bit coral. It has some very very subtle holo as well as red and violet shimmer. The formula is easy to work with and applies well.
This is 2 coats.
Girly Bits Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar. This is a super shifty multichrome with a bit of holo micro glitter. In the sun, it looks more teal/blue, but it easily shifts to purple and in some extreme angles shifts to green/gold. The formula is easy to work with and it's not sheer like a lot of multichromes can be.
This is 2 coats.
Girly Bits Believe the Impossible. This polish is so ethereal and dreamy. It's a light purple/lilac holo with gold shimmer. Seriously, my pictures do this no justice. It's not something I'd normally gravitate towards, but that gold shimmer puts it over the top for me. I think I have a gold shimmer problem. No application issues. It goes on a tad sheer, but builds up to opacity easily.
This is 3 coats.
And there we have it! Again, these are still available from GirlyBitsCosmetics.com Also, if you decide to pick some of these up and haven't checked out their What Happened in Vegas collection, you need to; they're up for pre-order until August 22nd!
And as always, check out Girly Bits at the following spots!
