Hi everyone! I hope you had a great Easter/weekend! Today I have the new Spring 2016 Crème à la Mode Box. As a recap, the Creme a la Mode box is collaborative effort between four brands: Digital Nails, Literary Lacquers, Indigo Bananas, and Octopus Party Nail Lacquers. It contains four creme polishes, retails for $26 USD + s&h, and is released quarterly at CremeAlaMode.bigcartel.com.
Let's take a look!
Digital Nails Water You Wading For? I'm calling this a bright cornflower blue. It gives me Sally Hansen Pacific Blue (the original) vibes. Application and formula on this is flawless!
This is 2 coats.
Indigo Bananas Smoke on the Otter. This is a grayed off white creme. It's almost a dove gray color. I can see this being a great base for nail art! The formula on this is a tad thin but still workable and great for a white based polish.
This is 3 coats.
Literary Lacquer Salmon Chanted Evening. This is a gorgeous bright coral creme and I love how it pops against my skin! My bottle had a funky brush, so I won't comment to much on formula, but I did like the consistency.
This is 3 coats, but I suspect it would be fine in 2 without the brush issue.
Octopus Party Nail Lacquer The Algae-atic Sea. This is a beautiful and bright pastel green creme. The application is flawless and the formula is easy to work with.
This is 2 coats.
And there we have it! Everyone did a fabulous job with these polishes. I can see myself wearing each and everyone!
These will only be available for pre-order until April 3rd so be sure to hurry and get yours!
