Sally Hansen Red Carpet

This one is from the Xtreme Wear line.  (Side Note:  Can someone please explain to me why Sally Hansen has 50 million different lines??)  It's a jelly red with red glitter and is a very close dupe to China Glaze's Ruby Pumps.  For a glitter, it dries extremely smooth, which is a plus in my book.

This is 3 coats.

  1. Gorgeous! Love how it glows! I wish Sally Hansen had less lines. It just makes it confusing.

  2. Is this a new one? GOTTA HAVE IT! As usual, your application is PERFECTION! They do have 50-11 different lines/bottles/styles....lol!

  3. I know! I can't keep all of the SH lines straight. And just when you think they've covered it all, they come out with another line. Anyway...this is a gorgeous polish! I got this one in a giveaway and gave it away to a coworker because I have something pretty similar to it in Zoya Delilah.

  4. I am loving this and I don't have any SH from this line - I am with you - too many lines for me to keep filed in my brain with the shades and all. I just know I really like SH Complete Salon Formula - the expensive one that does all 5 parts of a mani - but I always use a top coat anyway on the maybe 4 shades I have. Not quite the same depth/intensity that Zoya Delilah has - as another posted mentioned....but since that is one heck of a polish shade it's pretty hard for me to ever compare anything to Delilah. Some say CG Ruby Slippers - I have both and both have places in my heart...but they are not the same. Nice when you find a great SH. I need to venture more into the brand lines. But I just seem to look at them in a blur - too many and nothing jumps out unless it's got an amazing sale on and then there is nothing left color wise it seems.

  5. Super pretty color right there. I'm not sure about all the lines either. It looks like Wet N Wild is following in the footsteps, they have a lot of lines out at this point.

  6. I like this polish, too, and I wear it at xmas time. SH has 9 lines of polish in the Walgreens near me - yup I counted. I don't mind it except when they duplicate colors in the lines like they have done this year, otherwise it provides some nice variety. I love the brushes in the SH XW line as it's easier for me to do straight lines, tips, and toenails with them. I'm glad to see a blog on the Xtreme Wear polishes. Now if only they'd put the XW brush in the Complete Salon Manicure line I'd be totally happy with them.

  9. I bought this about 3 weeks ago, and just getting around to using it today. It's beautiful! I used 2 coats of this, and a layer of "As Gold As it Gets" by Essie. I have been kissing my nails all day. Definitely in my top 5. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Xtreme Wear line by SH. Very high quality at any price!
