Hi everyone! Today I have a collaboration between Great Lakes Lacquer and Literary Lacquers to show you called Make Your Stand. The collection consists of 4 polishes, 2 from each brand and is inspired by Steven King's The Stand. I'm a huge reader, but historical fiction is usually my genre of choice. Still, I'm going to add this to my to read pile because I'm curious.
This collection is available for pre-order until July 19th on GreatLakesLacquer.com with a turn around time of 5-12 business days.
Let's take a look!
Great Lakes Lacquer M-O-O-N, That Spells Purple. "Inspired by Tom, the hero with the big heart." This is a beautiful vampy purple holo with a bit of golden pink shimmer peeking through that gives it some glow. The formula is very easy to work with and it dries pretty fast.
This is 2 coats.
Great Lakes Lacquer My Life for You. "Inspired by Trash Can Man, the construct of destruction." This is a very gray looking silver micro glitter with charcoal flakes and hints of muted magenta micro glitter. It has a bit of a lavender tint to it. Nice formula; not too thick at all. It does dry with a bit of a textured finish, but it's nothing an extra coat of top coat won't fix.
This is 3 coats.
Literary Lacquers Mayhaps You Is. "Inspired by Mother Abagail, the 108-year-old leader of the "good" survivors." This is a metallic foil golden pink polish with subtle linear holo. It's such a delicate polish! No application issues!
This is 2 coats.
Literary Lacquers The Eye, the Key. "Inspired by Randall Flagg, the embodiment of evil." This is a gorgeous charchoal linear holo with some gold shimmer and these bright red glitters scattered through out. Application is great. The red glitters do stick up a bit once everything is dry, but with an extra coat of top coat everything is nice and smooth.
This is 2 coats.
These are only available for a limited time, so be sure to get your from Great Lakes Lacquers! And as always check out Great Lakes Lacquer and Literary Lacquers at the following spots!
