I have a love hate relationship with Zoya. Their colors are always gorgeous and unique BUT the formula hates me. I always get shrinkage which drives me up the wall. I've tried it with almost ever top coat and base coat combination under the sun (including those made by Zoya) to no avail. However, I think I may have found my combination. Sally Hansen quick dry top coat (in the red bottle) and OPI's ridgefiller. So far so good!
Zoya Jo is such a pretty periwinkle blue with blue, silver shimmer. This was a part of Zoya's Spring 2009 Twist collection.

I've used both the Sally Hansen Double Duty base/Top coat AND the Nutra Nail Mineral Collection Base/Top coat and haven't had an issue with either of them and Zoya.
ReplyDeleteWhat's shrinkage? Apologies, I'm a bit slow on the NP lingo.
ReplyDelete@TrailerHood Chic, I haven't tried any of those. I'm like convinced Zoya had a personal vendetta against me LOL.
ReplyDelete@Marie, Sorry about that. Shrinkage is when your polish seems to get premature "tip wear" and your polish starts fading from the tips or from the cuticle.
Pretty color!! Sucks you have issues with shrinkage with Zoya - they're such a great company.
ReplyDeleteThey really are. That's why I keep buying from them. The colors are always amazing.
