Illamasqua Rare

To celebrate the beginning of summer, I decided to go bright.  Neon, eye searing, blinding bright.  Of course I had to bring out the neon yellow.

As we all know, neon yellows tend to be extremely sheer and either require a ridiculous number of coats, or a couple of layers of white underneath.  Rare was different.  I used 4 coats, but probably could have gotten away with three.  It started off a bit streaky, but I was fine with it knowing what I could have been getting into with a yellow, and a neon yellow at that.  Needless to say, this started off my summer perfectly.

China Glaze C-C-Courage

C-C-Courage is from the Wizard of Oz collection re-released in 2009.  That means it's taken me 2 years to wear this polish -_-  I have to get it together with my untrieds.  I still haven't worn Merry Midnight (don't stone me lol)

This polish is both frosty and glass flecked.  I'm normally not a frost fan, but certain ones get a pass and this one definitely does.

This is 2 coats.

Zoya Pippa

My bestie had a yellow pedi yesterday, and I just had to put on a yellow because it looked so nice on her.  Pippa is a gorgeous summer yellow.  This color definitely pops on us brown skinned ladies.  I wish I had more yellow in my stash.  I had no problems with this Zoya.  In fact it's one of my favorite yellows.  The first couple of coats are streaky, but I've never met a yellow that wasn't streaky.

Illamasqua Muse

Hello to all the new followers!  I know I've been away for a while, but life and computer troubles have gotten in the way, but I'm back, getting back in the groove of things.

Today, I have Illamasqua Muse.  This is a gorgeous dusty turquoise cream.  Application was perfection.  I only needed one coat.
