Great Lakes Lacquer Polish Con NYC 2017 Limited Editions Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!  We're less than a week away from Polish Con NYC 2017 and I've got some special Limited Editions from Great Lakes Lacquer to show you!  These 4 polishes will be debuting at Polish Con 2017 on April 29th, but if you can't make it to Polish Con, you'll be able to pick these up from GreatLakesLacqer.com.  They'll be available from GreatLakesLacquer.com starting May 5th, 2pm EST until May 12th 9pm EST.  Be sure to mark your calendars because once these are gone, they're gone!

Let's take a look!

Great Lakes Lacquer Coney Island Queen.  This has a creamy blue gray base with multichrome shimmer that shifts blue to purple and on extreme ends to copper/orange, and to top it off there's also some scattered holo for good measure.  This polish has a slightly thick formula, but it's easy to apply so this wasn't an issue.

This is 3 coats.

Great Lakes Lacquer Spring at Prospect Park.  This is a bright and light blue crelly with loads of big multichrome flakes that can look purple, blue, gold, and green depending on the lighting as well as some shifting shimmer and very subtle holo.  This gorgeous polish has some ingredients that can't be bought again, so this is super limited.  The formula on this is very easy to work with.  No complaints.

This is 2 coats.

Great Lakes Lacquer Brooklyn Shenanigans.  I'm not even sure what color to call this because of the shift.  What I do know is that this is vampy multichrome goodness that shifts maroon, orange, and gold with a purple base, plus holo.  It's definitely my favorite of the bunch.  Photos don't quite do it justice as it always is with multichromes.  The formula is perfect and the polish is nicely pigmented.

This is 2 coats.

Great Lakes Lacquer A Bite of the Big Apple.  Vampy magenta red jelly base filled with multichrome flakes that shift indigo purple to red and iridescent flakes that shift purple, blue, and gold, as well as a bit of copper shimmer.  The purple flakes in this look absolutely amazing.  The formula is super easy to apply.  You can do 2 coats for a lighter look, or 3 coats for a deeper base and more flakes.

This is 3 coats.
