Twinsie Tuesday - Recreate a Twinsie's Mani

Hi everyone!  It's Twinsie Tuesday!  Today's theme is centered around recreating a fellow Twinsie's mani.  There are many talented nail artists in the group, so it was hard to pick one, but I decided to go with some inspiration from Lisa over at The Polish Playground.  Her manis are always so cute and I love her color combos.  Plus I'm kind of obsessed with her rounded nails.  If I thought I could pull them off I'd totally shape mine that way.

The mani I chose to recreate is her Distressed Pastel look.  Like Lisa's, mine didn't quite turn out distressed looking, but I think it looks pretty cute!

For this look I used:

  • China Glaze Something Sweet
  • China Glaze At Vase Value
  • Jessica Lime Cooler
  • Vernis Classique by Cherimoya Electric Heaven

Be sure to check out the other Twinsies!

  1. I love how yours turned out. I guess layering pastels together in the distressed design doesn't look distressed but the result is something I really like a lot regardless.

  2. This came out great! Like Lisa said, I could see how it's hard to make pastels look distressed, but either way, this is really nice!

  6. This mani is super cute! You should do a tutorial. How did you apply the Lime Cooler? I think that really did the trick.

  9. Great recreation! I love the colours together :) I agree with Lisa it is hard to get a distressed look with just pastels but it's still cute!
