Elevation Polish A Journey Told Through Music, Part 2 Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Hi everyone!  After a month long break, Elevation Polish is back with their Journey Through Music, Part 2.  The collection consists of 8 polishes including a Yeti and are inspired by some of creator Lulu's favorite songs.  I've also included links to the song, just click on the polish name (those with a * have explicit lyrics).  These will be available October 7th 9pm Central!

Elevation Polish The Moon Don't Move.  This is a pretty unassuming gray until you catch a glimse of the gorgeous green shimmer in it!  In most lights it's pretty subtle, but does come out more in the sun and very bright light.  Great application.

This is 2 coats.

*Elevation Polish Dirt Up Off My Psyche.  This is a kind of dirty maroon creme somewhere between brown and burgundy and a little dusty.  This was a surprise favorite for me, but I absolutely love this.  It has a consistency of a slightly jelly creme and applies very well.

This is 3 coats.

Elevation Polish Dancing In This Rain.  A deep indigo creme with ultrachrome flakes and smaller flecks.  This one needed a little more patience because the flakes wanted to clump and it made application a little harder, but it's definitely workable.  Be sure to wait a bit between coats.

This is 2 coats.

Elevation Polish Scrape With Screw.  This is a definite stunner.  It's a beautiful cranberry holo.  In bright sun you can see it's pinkish undertones, but in normal light and shade, it's pure vampy red goodness.  Flawless application.

This is 2 coats.

Elevation Polish Impatience of Imagination Wandered.  This has a crelly blue tinted gray base with charcoal flakes as well as some purple ultrachrome flakes.  I really love the base of this and would love to have it on it's own too!

Elevation Polish Uniformish Pantsuit Sort of Thing.  This is a pinkish cool toned taupe/nude creme.  I actually ended up liking this on my skin tone and it applied really well.

This is 2 coats.

Elevation Polish Ratatouille Strychnine.  It has a sheer pink base with lots of pink shimmer with glints of blue in there.  This is a pretty versatile polish.  It looks awesome layered over different colors and can be worn alone.  I chose to layer it over Uniformish Pantsuit Sort of Thing.

This is 1 coat over Uniformish Pantsuit Sort of Thing.

Elevation Polish Yeti Has a Bike.  Another favorite because Teal!  This is a limited edition that will be available during the month of October.  It's a green leaning teal holo and it's fabulous!

This is 2 coats, but it can definitely be worn as 1.
