Hi everyone! Today I have Fire Cracker Lacquer's newest offering, the Candle Salad Collection. I have to say when Kendahl first told us the name of the collection I was confused and when I googled it I laughed so hard. We'll just say a candle isn't the only thing that concoction resembles 😉
The Candle Salad Collection consists of 5 polishes, 4 of which are microglitters. You can pick these up now over at www.firecrackerlacquer.com
On to the swatches!
Fire Cracker Lacquer Blow Me Raspberries. This has a medium toned pink jelly base that's filled with pink and holo microglitter. Because this is a jelly microglitter this has a slightly thicker formula, but it's super easy to apply and work with and has nice opacity.
This is 2 coats.
Fire Cracker Lacquer Stick & (blue) Berries. This has a bright royal blue jelly base with blue and holo microglitter. This has a slightly thicker formula, but applies well and only needs 2 coats for opacity.
This is 2 coats.
Fire Cracker Lacquer Cherry Poppin'. This has a vibrant red jelly base that leans almost hot pink that is filled with red and holo microglitter. Like the others, this has a slightly thicker formula that lends to a more opaque formula. No application issues.
This is 2 coats.
Fire Cracker Lacquer Eggplant Emoji. I've never been able to look at eggplant the same after the eggplant emoji craze. This is a bright purple jelly base with purple and holo micro glitter. This has the same slightly thicker formula and great opacity.
This is 3 coats (this is opaque in 2, but I needed a third because I didn't wait long enough between coats.)
Fire Cracker Lacquer Taste My Rainbow. This strays away from the microglitter trend. It has a clear base with silver foil flecks with a scattering of holo microglitter and multichrome flakes. This one is slightly more sheer than the others, but doesn't take too much to become opaque.
This is 3 coats.
Over all this is a great little collection. I haven't seen too many microglitters lately and I have to say I miss them. I love that these aren't too thick and impossible to apply, but are also not too sheer and don't require several coats to be opaque.
