Jior Couture SWL: Sweet Collection Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Hi everyone!  Today I'm showing you some new polishes from Jior Couture!  Their fall collection SWL is split into two parts, Sweet and Bitter, each consisting of 6 polishes.  I'll be showing you Sweet and you're seriously in for a treat!  These will be available starting September 15th.

Let's take a look!

Jior Couture Reformation.  This is a squishy sheer blue jelly with multi-colored flakes.  The formula is easy to work with, but it never quite builds up to opacity.  If you prefer that there not be visible nail line showing, be sure to layer it over something more opaque!

This is 4 coats.

Jior Couture Forgiveness.  Caramel/dulce de leche brown with subtle holo.  I'm not usually drawn to these types of browns, but it grew on me.  The formula on this is excellent and very pigmented, which is why this polish looks more holo in the bottle than on the nail.

This is 1 coat.

Jior Couture Resurrection.  This is a holo multichrome that shifts pink/purple to gold to green.  This is super shifty and not subtle at all.  I love polishes like this because in the bright sun the holo shines through and in the shade or on a cloudy day the color shift is so visible.  Pictures do it no justice.  This polish is just gorgeous and the formula is very easy to work with.

This is 2 coats.

Jior Couture Redemption.  This is a gold/green shimmer in a blackened navy base.  There is a subtle multichrome shift to indigo in extreme lighting angles.  No application issues.

This is 3 coats.

Jior Couture Hope.  This is a multichrome shimmer in a clear base with scattered holo micro glitter.  It's sheer and meant to be used as a topper.  The shimmer shifts from green to teal to blue to purple and shifts easily.  The formula is easy to work with and looks great over anything.

This is 1 coat over black.

Jior Couture Awakened.  This is another shifter!  This time it's a duochrome that mostly presents as burgundy/maroon and shifts to an antique gold color.  It's such a perfect fall color.  Another easy to work with formula!

This is 2 coats.

And there we have it!  This was my first experience with Jior Couture and over all I really enjoyed these.  The stand outs for me are Resurrection (I put this on for vacation and I'm constantly getting complements) and Hope (I love that I can put this over anything and give it a little something extra).

The SWL: Sweet and Bitter collection will be available from JiorCouture.com September 15th.  Be sure to check them out at the following spots!
