Hi everyone! Today I have the August 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box to show you! And if you're wondering what G.N.O.M.E. stands for, it's Glitter Nerds of Magical Existence. The G.N.O.M.E. Box is a monthly box that always consists of polishes from Rica and Stardust Beauty and occasionally there's one from a guest brand. This months guest is none other than Dreamland Lacquer!
Let's take a look!
Dreamland Lacquer MetroGNOME. This is a gorgeous turquoise holo with holo micro glitter. The formula is easy to work with and despite the micro glitter, it dries to a smooth finish.
This is 2 coats.
Rica Gnoman Empire. This is a lovely medium toned raspberry linear holo with some scattered holo and some micro holo glitter. Another great formula that's easy to work with. This dries fast and to a nice smooth finish. It does dry slightly matte, but that's what top coat is for!
This is 2 coats.
Stardust Beauty GNOMEnclature. The season of the vampy polish is coming and this has me excited! GNOMEnclature is a dark reddish plummy purple filled with really fine purple and black holo glitter. The purple holo glitters in this actually flash more of a red color and makes things interesting. Because of the glitter, this polish is a bit gritty and dries to a textured finish. You can leave it textured, or add a couple layers of topcoat to smooth things out. My photos are shown with a layer of Gelous and KBShimmer Clearly on Top.
This is 2 coats.
I have to say each polish in this box is something I'd wear; I really enjoyed all three. I also love that this is a smaller box, but still has a little something for everyone. It's the perfect transition into fall.
