Contrary Polish Exclusive Duo for Color4Nails

Press Sample

Hi everyone!  I've been trying to get this post up all day, but of course my computer decided to act up, but it's back up and running!

Today I'm excited to share with you a brand new Contrary Polish duo!  This weekend on February 13th @ 4pm PST Contrary Polish will be making it's debut on Color4Nails.com, a site that sells various brands of indie and main stream polishes both indie and mainstream.  As a special Valentine's Day treat, Color4Nails will also be selling a limited edition, exclusive duo that will only be stocked once!

The duo is inspired by the story of Orpheus and Eurydice:

"Orpheus was the son of Apollo, a very gifted musician whose music could charm mortals, animals and the trees. Eurydice was the wife of Orpheus. One day Eurydice was wondering with the nymphs and a shepherd named Aristaeus attempted to make advances toward Eurydice and she ran off.  While running she was bitten by a snake and died.
Being so grief stricken Orpheus played his sorrows in his music which was heard by gods and me.
In such need for his love he went in sear of Eurydice in the underworld.  In the underworld he sang his sorrow with such perfection that Pluto, Proserpine and all of the ghosts of the underworld stopped.  Orpheus' song made Proserpine and Pluto grant him his desire.  They let Eurydice leave with him under one condition; he could not look at her until they left the underworld.
When they had nearly left the underworld Orpheus had forgotten his promise and wanted to assure that Eurydice was following him so he glanced back, their eyes met, and she was instantly gone. Orpheus didn't even have a chance to hug his love.  In such love for his wife Orpheus wanted to follow her in death.  He wandered back into the underworld and kept playing his heartbreaking song.
Orpheus' singing caused the Thracian maidens to get angry and they screamed to drown out his overpowering music.  The maidens ripped him apart and placed his remains at Libethra.
Now in death Orpheus and Eurydice walk the fields together in true happiness."

Let's take a look at the polishes!

Contrary Polish Orpheus.  This is a charcoal grey with some slight taupe-ish leanings.  It's filled with pink shimmer that looks more violet, as well as scattered holo.  This has a bit of a crelly formula so it's sheer in the first coat, but builds up nicely.  Application was a breeze.

This is 3 coats, but can definitely be done in 2.

Contrary Polish Eurydice.  This is a slightly purple red crelly with pink shimmer and scattered holo.  It is slightly more sheer than Orpheus, but still buildable.  Application is easy with a great consistency.

This is 3 coats (2 may be okay if you don't mind slight visible nail line).
