KBShimmer Summer Collection 2015 (partial)

Hi everyone!  I hope you had a lovely weekend!  May has been a bit of a crazy month for me with school and some family things, but everything should be settling down this month so here's to a great month!

Today I have some of KBShimmer's Summer Collection which is available for purchase now!  The collection  is actually split into 3 parts.  Part One is all about the "sun-bleached neons," Part Two is filled with glitter crellies, toppers and holos, and Part Three is all about "The Flakes."  Together, the summer collection has a total of 28 polishes!  Today I have 9 to show you.

First up is Bahama Drama.  This one is a bright creamy coral neon.  (My camera really messed with this color, so I did color correct it to my eye) It's the quintessential summer neon and is really flattering on! The formula was nice, but on the thick side.  I also got some bald spots when applying and almost needed a fourth coat.  It also dries matte, but that's not unusual for a neon.

This is 3 coats.

Rum Me the Right Way is a bright, almost neon, yellow cream.  I was pleased with the formula.  I expected problems because, well, it's yellow.  The formula isn't thick like Bahama Drama but it still gets the slight balding like it.

Leggo My Mango.  I don't usually wear orange, but when I do, it's a bright pastel like this.  It's gorgeous!  While the formula was nice and it goes on relatively easy, it's prone to patchiness.

This is 3 coats.

For Sail by Owner is a bright light green cream and it's gorgeous like the others!  I had none of the patchy problems with this that I did with the others.

What Are You Wading For? is a darker toned periwinkle blue holo (it gives me OPI DS Glamour vibes, but definitely not a dupe) with these subtle little periwinkle blue glitters that kind of wink at you when you move your fingers.  I wish I could capture them in a photo, but trust me they're there.  The formula on this was perfect!

This is 3 coats (you could definitely get away with 2)

Pinka Colada has a purple leaning pink crelly base with holo green, blue and pink glitters.  No complaints about the formula here!

This is 3 coats.

Precious Petals is a gorgeous glitter topper!  It has a clear base with neon pink, aqua, periwinkle, and white glitter as will as some holo shimmer.

This is 1 coat over For Sail by Owner.

Look On the Night Side has a clear base and is filled to the brim with multichrome flakies.  I actually put this on my mom last week and everywhere we went people were fawning all over her nails.  They couldn't get over the amazing shift.  There a few of these flakies in the summer collection.  This one shifts from an emerald green to fuschia to teal to blue.  I had a hard time capturing it, but there is no need for awkward angles for these to get them to shift.  Because of how dense with flakes this polish is, it does get thick and sometimes the flakes clump up on each other.  Nothing a little thinner couldn't handle.

This is 2 coats.

Wave the Flag is the perfect patriotic topper and will probably be my mani of choice for the 4th of July.  It has a clear base with varying sizes of red, white, and blue glitter as well as tiny white star shaped glitters.

This is 1 coat over black.

Overall I really like ever single one of these!  The sun bleached neons are my absolute favorite.  I can't get enough of colors like these and KBShimmer really knocked it out of the park!
