Hi everyone! It's been a little while because my camera crapped out on me, but I'm back with the debut collection from Gunpowder Lacquer called Sunshine and Whiskey! Gunpowder Lacquer has a country edge and is all about celebrating a woman's power and femininity.
Let's get to the swatches!
First up is Till I Sea You Again. It's a medium blue crelly holo. I love all the blue holos and this is no exception! No formula issues either.
This is 2 coats.
Drivin' Me Paisley is a bright fuchsia creme color with violet shimmer and some sparse holo. No application issues!
This is 2 coats.
Floatin Trailer Park is one of my favorites from this collection. It's a bright turquoise with violet/blue shimmer. This one applied nicely.
This is 2 coats.
Crazy Ex-GF is a creamy barbie pink with holo pigment and a hint of gold shimmer. Perfect for all you pink lovers! No application issues.
This is 2 coats.
Meet Me in Margaritaville is a neon green creme with a bit of shimmer throughout. I did find this to be on the thick side. One other blogger had the same issue, but the rest were fine with it. Carly plans on thinning it a bit before the release.
This is 2 coats.
Little Red Wagon is a gorgeous warm toned red jelly holo. If you're on the hunt for a red holo, this is definitely one to check out! It applies perfectly!
This is 2 coats.
Last but not least is Sundaze. It's a bright coral cream with subtle holo and a hint of gold shimmer. This one had a similar formula to Meet Me in Margaritaville and Carly plans on thinning this one a bit as well before the release.
This is 3 coats.
Over all this is a great debut for Gunpowder Lacquer. I can honestly see myself wearing every single one of these colors, but my favorites are Floatin' Trailor Park, Till I Sea You Again and Little Red Wagon. I have to say I'm really impressed.
