Gone Gonzo is from OPI's Muppet Collection for Winter 2011. It's a light blue glitter with larger silver hexagonal glitter. When I saw initial swatches, I was afraid that the glitter wasn't buildable, but it definitely is with a little effort and 3 coats. This polish is extremely blingy and the silver glitters are very reflective. I almost blinded myself looking at it in the sun lol.

Really nice to see it built up. It looks great on you! I love how the large hex glitters give the nail an "armor plated" look with enough layers.

ReplyDeletei don't really like the glitters from this collection.. i find the weird silver hex glitter sparse and distracting very odd looking. HOWEVER, the blue one is AMAZING.. the hex blends in with the blue...making it really subtle/but crazy glitter combo!! I think i will get this one!

ReplyDeleteFunny story... your swatches are the reason I fell in love with this polish (see my comment above) and was on a huge hunt for it all winter and never found it! Well, I was strolling through Target about a week ago and OMGooses, THERE IT WAS! Finally, almost 10 months later, I have Gone Gonzo on my nails!
