Excuse me Ma'am, do you have time to talk about our lord and savior olive green polish?

Okay but seriously, olive green is one of my favorite colors when it comes to polish and I'm always on a quest to buy more.  The "uglier" the better.  Enter Mariah of Great Lakes Lacquer.  I'd actually just bought a purple custom for my best friend's birthday and when it came in the mail, I instantly thought that it would be absolutely perfect as olive green.  So of course I bought another custom.  

When I told Mariah I wanted something in the vein of Rescue Beauty Lounge's No More War, she probably cringed, but she ended up creating my dream polish!  And because I can't keep it all to myself, Mariah is offering it in her shop for a limited time starting June 23rd 3pm EST

Lemming Lacquer Damn It, I Had Something for This, Part I Collection Swatches and Review

Hi everyone! If you've been following me on Instagram, you've seen some of my swatches of Lemming Lacquer's Archer inspired collection: Damn It, I Had Something for This.  My best friend introduced me to Archer a few years ago and I've loved it ever since!  I was so excited when Cassie of Lemming Lacquer asked me to swatch and review these and when they came in the mail, it was obvious she nailed it with both the colors and name.  And to make things even better, there's also a part 2 coming in July!  Part I consists of 8 polishes and they're available from LemmingLacquer.com now!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Destination Trio for May 2016

Hi everyone! Today I have Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's Destination Trio to show you.  Normally this is a duo, but this time they've teamed up with two amazing brands: Darling Diva Polish and Northern Star Polish.  This month's Destination collab was inspired by this photo taken in Chicago.

The trio is available in all three maker's shops.  Let's take a look at the swatches!

Girly Bits Give Me One Good Raisin

Hi again!  I've got another polish to share with you today!  This time it's Girly Bits Give Me One Good Raisin and I'm absolutely in love with it!

Give Me One Good Raisin is a slightly blackened plummy raisin color with purple shimmer.  It does shift gold in different lighting and angles, but mostly stays a purple color.  Also, did I mention it's holo?  It really is gorgeous and looks great in both the sun and shade!

The formula on this is very easy to work with.  It dries pretty fast to a slightly matte finish because of all the shimmer.

This is 2 coats.

Law Beauty Essentials Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!  I graduated and took a little break, but I'm back!  Today I have some polishes from Law Beauty Essentials to show you.  The bottles have a square shape as does the top, much like Butter London.  The caps come off to allow for easier application and the brushes are wide with slightly rounded edges, similar to Sally Hansen brushes but a tad less wide.  Each bottle has .37 fl oz of product.  This brand is also 5 free!  Let's take a look.

Girly Bits Conquer for the BC Cancer Foundation

Hi everyone! Today I'm showing you a special polish by Girly Bits called Conquer.  In collaboration with Girly Bit's spokeswoman, Megan Edwards, Conquer was created to help Megan reach her goal of raising $2500 for The Ride to Conquer Cancer.  The money raised will benefit the BC Cancer Foundation.  For each polish sold 100% of the sales will go to Megan's campaign.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren's May Bouquet

Hey everyone!  I have lots to show you so there will be a few posts today!  I got a bit behind (I'm graduating!), but I'm finally catching up.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer (BEGL) releases new Sirens every month, and this month she's releasing the gorgeous Siren's May Bouquet.  It's a very pink leaning pastel purple creme with lots of iridescent flecks.  The formula on this was a tad on the thick side and it's best to wait for it to dry in between coats for the best application.  I did seem to not play well with my quick dry top coat and smudged a bit, so it's best to wait before applying top coat.  The finish on this also isn't completely smooth when dry so you may need to use a thicker top coat or an extra layer.

This is 2 coats.
