Elevation Polish Yeti's Healing Vibes

Hi everyone!  I hope you've had a great week!  I for one have been looking forward to the long weekend.

Today I have a charity polish from Elevation Polish called Yeti's Healing Vibes.  Lulu created this special Yeti to raise money to help aid Nepal.  It's being sold for $12 and during the month of May, Elevation will donate $10 for each Yeti's Healing Vibes sold and from June on, they will donate $5.  The proceeds will be donated to the American Himalayan Foundation.  You can read more about it in Lulu's blog posts here and here.

Yeti's Healing Vibes is a dusty light green crelly filled with ultra chrome flakies as well as some shimmer.  The formula is a little on the thick side, but goes on nicely.

This is 2 coats.

Twinsie Tuesday - Inspired by Your Favorite Mug

Hi everyone! Today's Twinsie Tuesday inspiration is my favorite mug.  I have no idea where it came from (my mom bought them for me), but it's definitely my go to for everything, especially hot chocolate and chai tea.  I'm not much of a coffee drinker unless it's in my frapuccino, ice cream, or tiramisu.

For these nails I used the fan brush technique.  For the colors I used China Glaze At Vase Value (I forgot how much this formula sucked!), Essie Greenport, and Elevation Polish Thunder Basin (which came out looking black, but I swear it's brown!).  I love my mug, but this look did not translate AT ALL.  I wanted to incorporate the brown rim in my mani, as well as the random brown dots.  I should have left that out, but I'll definitely try the fan brush mani again soon!  In the mean time, don't laugh!

Check out the other Twinsie's posts! Hopefully they did better than me!

Hi everyone!  I was hoping to get these up yesterday, but life got in the way.  Today I have the Pahlish Through the Looking Glass Collection.  This time around, the collection is inspired by Alice in Wonderland.  The label has even been customized to fit the theme.  I love it when Shannon does this.  The labels are always so cute!

Pahlish May Duo - Golden Afternoon

Press Sample

Hi everyone! Today I have Pahlish's May Duo to show you.  This month's theme is Alice in Wonderland.  I'll have the Through the Looking Glass Collection up on Friday or Saturday, but for now let's take a look at the duo.

First up is Dizzy Daffodils.  This one is a pretty peachy pink cream with pink micro flakies.  No application issues.  This is 2 coats.

The second part of the duo is String of Violets.  This one is a topper and has holo, pink and ultrachrome flakies and a bit of shimmer.  It seems like the base has a bit of a pink tinge, but that make be because of the pink flakies.  I put one coat over Dizzy Daffodils.

Darling Diva Bewbs!!

Okay, I'm ashamed.  I've been wanting to try Darling Diva for years (I still have stuff in my etsy account that I wanted to get lol) and I finally bought a few.

Today I have for you Bewbs!! from last years Salem Collection.  It's a change of pace from all the neons and pastels, but something about this time of year makes me crave all things vampy.  I've been wearing this since Tuesday and I don't want to take it off.  It's a beautiful vampy berry color.  Kind of a cross between raisin and burgundy.  It glows in low light and in bright lights the holo comes out.  If by some cruel twist of fate I could only choose one polish to wear for the rest of my life, this would be a top contender.

The formula on this polish was surprisingly thick, though it's easy to apply.  I think it's what makes this a one coater.

Have you tried Darling Diva?  Which ones are your favorite and what should I buy next?

Cirque Colors Metropolis Collection - Hustle

Press Sample

Hi everyone! Today I have Cirque Colors' May entry into their Metropolis Collection called Hustle.  It's described as a chartuese green cream.  Let me just say that this color plays tricks on the eyes.  It some lights it looks bright green, others it looks more like a mustardy yellow.  It doesn't want to make up it's mind!

Application on this was okay.  It was a tiny bit thick, but still easy to apply.

This is 2 coats.

Twinsie Tuesday - Jelly Sandwich

Press Sample

Hi everyone! Today's Twinsie Tuesday post is all about the jelly sandwich.  I haven't done one of these in so long, and I definitely need to do them more often!

For this look I used Essie Marshmallow and Pahlish Confetti Cannon.  I first layered 2 coats of Marshmallow, then a coat of Confetti Cannon, another coat of Marshmallow, another coat of Confetti Cannon and then a final coat of Marshmallow.  Sounds like a lot of work, but it's super easy.
