Zoya Yasmeen

Yasmeen is on of my favorite Zoyas.  It's a gorgeous purple shimmer and in my opinion one a Zoya's classics.  Definitely a must have.  Application was great on this.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Moxie

Now this is a classy color.  I hadn't worn this in a while, and decided I needed to bring it out.  I don't think Moxie gets enough love, but I suppose it's not for everyone.  It is a bit frosty and can be brush stroke-y if you aren't careful.  The base is white with lots of gold shimmer.  I have to retake pictures of this soon

Maybelline Go Go Green

I bought Go Go Green 2 or 3 years ago and didn't have any swatch pictures of it, so I'm swatching it!  Go Go Green is a light green with tons of gold shimmer.  I think I bought this to try and curb my lemming of OPI Creme de Menthe.  Didn't really work, but I've come to accept that I probably won't find it.

The formula on this was a bit watery but wasn't too bad.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Piu Mosso

Piu Mosso is a dark, almost black blue with subtle orange-y shimmer.  I have mixed feelings about this one.  It's absolutely stunning in the bottle with obvious shimmer, however when on the nail, the shimmer is more subdued and in certain lights, invisible, making the polish look like a more dusty, deep navy blue.  However, when you can see the shimmer, it's so pretty!

Application on this was perfection.  It's definitely a 1 coater, but silly me had to use 2.  Painting nails when I'm exhausted and barely seeing straight is not a good combo.

OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window

OPI, I want to know who named this polish.  Now, I normally don't get asked about my polish, but of course I'm checking out at the grocery store and the checker tells me that she loves the color I'm wearing and asks what color it is so she can buy it.  And then there was that awkward moment when I told her it was called Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window.  I'm pretty sure she thought I was crazy lol.

Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window is one of those ugly pretty shades and you either love it or hate it.  I LOVE shades like these.  This murky green is right up my alley.  Application wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either.  I had a hard time controlling it because it was a bit runny.

China Glaze Atlantis

I'm kind of late to the party with this one and I know everyone has seen it, but I'm going to show it anyway.  It's been in my untrieds for probably 2 years.

Atlantis is a stunning holo glitter suspended in a blue/green jelly base.  Need I say more?  It's opaque in 3 coats and eats up topcoat like crazy.  I have on Gelous, Seche Vite, and Barielle Manicure Extender and it's still not completely smooth.

OPI Rumple's Wiggin'

Rumple's Wiggin' is a lovely pastel lavender color from OPI's 2010 Shrek Ever After collection.  As you'll be able to see in the pictures, I had a harder time with application (damn you pastels) and I also had to change some settings on my camera to get a more color accurate picture (damn you purples).

For some reason, colors like this don't really "pop" with my skin and almost looks neutral on me.

Jessica Cinderella Red

I got this gorgeous red in a gift exchange from Enamel Girl.

Cinderella Red is a beautiful metallic red complete with blackened edges and glowing red in the center.  I love it!

Wet n Wild Disturbia

I bought this polish over a year ago, and I'm not sure if it's discontinued or not.

Disturbia is a vampy red based purple with a subtle shimmer that comes out more in direct sunlight.  The formula on this was nice, but the brush was awkwardly shaped.  It was thick, wide, and lopsided.  This bottle is on the smaller side and I always have a harder time with small bottles, so I usually avoid minis at all costs.

Catherine Arley 667

I ordered a few of the Catherine Arleys a while back and I'm just now getting to wearing one!  667 is a medium gray holo.  It's kind of squishy, almost jelly-ish.

The gray color is not that flattering with my skin tone, but since it's holo, I love it anyways!

OPI Did It On 'Em

Did It On 'Em is from OPI's Nicki Minaj collection.  It's a bright chartreuse color and a nice mix of green and yellow.  When I first saw it, I thought it would be a dupe for either Fiercely Fiona or Who the Shrek Are You.  Did It On 'Em falls in between those colors.  It actually looks like they mixed together and had a baby.

Application wasn't too bad.  I was expecting the worst with all the yellow tones.

BB Couture Saturday Night Fever

I think I've said this before, but BB Couture knows how to make great polish with glitter suspended in a jelly base.

Saturday Night Fever has a dark green (nearly black) jelly base with green and gold glitter suspended in it.  It dries a little gritty, so I used a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.  These pictures do it no justice.  I don't know why I couldn't get a good picture of it.

OPI Get in the Expresso Lane

Get in the Expresso Lane is from OPI's Fall 2011 Touring America Collection.

Normally I shy away from brown cremes but this one is different.  It's almost cool toned.  It's a dark, almost smokey brown and I love it!

No complaints about the formula, everything went on nicely in 2 coats.

(Side note: I'm using a new camera -- broke the old one.  I'm kind of playing around with different angles and things.  Let me know what you think!)
